Although everything that I tried was surprisingly much better than I expected, I feel I can't accurately give a full 5 stars as I didn't try very many items, as I was there mainly for an after memorial service dinner. What I did end up mainly eating was the Sai Mai Lo, or the hot tapioca soup dessert. It was oddly placed between some savory dishes like prime rib or something in a slow cooker. But it should have been in the dessert section. I had like 3 bowls and had to exercise restraint and force myself to stay away from getting a 4th bowl, haha! The potstickers were very good and the creme brûlée was also very good.

Service was friendly and let me know that last order was at 8:45. They close at 9, but I could stay afterwards. They. Let me walk around to look at the buffet. It looked appetizing and wanted to try again. Glad that I did. Sashimi were nice truck cuts and crab legs and Dungeness crab was available. All were tasty! I was in seafood heaven. Food quality was excellent for buffet! All the other cuisines from Korea or China I didn't try, however looked good! The cost was $28. I'll be back.

This is for their to-go lunch of $8.99 for hot and cold food or $6.99 for hot food only. They give you a container and you fill it however you like and it's done by the pound. Its basically like a buffet in your living room!

Buffets are always a hit or miss. For someone like me who's a pescetarian, most buffets are overloaded with meat dishes but since Bluefin is known for their sushi and seafood, I figured it would be a great place to try out! I've actually been eyeing this buffet for years and years but never had a chance to go because of the rumored "how expensive it is" saying. But today's the day I decided I'm going to try it out. We called ahead of time to figure out how much it is. During lunch time we paid $20.99 and the lady on the phone said dinner time would be $29.99. We were hungry and couldn't wait so went for the lunch buffet. Having gone to many buffets in the past, I knew their selection wouldn't be as good as dinner. Hence, the lower pricing, right? My boyfriend wasn't fully aware and declared he liked Mizuki's better because they had sashimi! I'm sure they have sashimi during dinner but just not lunch. As for me, I thought they had a pretty good selection for what it's worth and the price we paid. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy top quality sushi time to time but sometimes, I just want to pay for quantity over quality. Conveyor sushi places are a huge hit or miss too but at least buffets, you pay one price and eat to your heart's content.
